Delamanid in the Treatment of MDR/pre-XDR TB in Arkhangelsk Region in 2019–2021

The objective: to evaluate the efficacy and safety of delamanid in a short-course treatment regimen for patients with MDR/pre-XDR pulmonary tuberculosis Arkhangelsk Region from 2019 2021. Subjects Methods. 32 (4 MDR TB 28 pre-XDR TB) started within combination chemotherapy new drugs, lasted 12 months. All received delamanid, bedaquiline, linezolid, clofazimine, then was compiled depending on clinical situation. Results. Effective registered 21/32 (65,6%). 4/32 (12,5%) interrupted treatment. Treatment failure 2/32 (6,25%). During study, 5 (15,6%) died, none them cause death. 106 adverse events (AEs) were reported, they included electrolyte imbalance (18,9%), hepatotoxic (16,0%), nephrotoxic (10,4%) cardiotoxic reactions.
